A Wonky Neighborhood

Here is my house for Cindy N.  I saw this block on humblequilts blog and thought the garden idea was so cute.  I had the hardest time cutting irregular shapes!  It was like something in my brain screamed "No!" each time I placed the ruler on a slight diagonal.  I also put this together in halves instead of building on one central shape (which I should have done).

I just love Elizabeth's little girl.  Wait until you see her up close...just adorable.
